RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This policy applies to purchases and returns within the United States.

RETURN WINDOWS

Used & Vintage Items — 7 Days

A return request for a used or vintage item must be submitted within 7 calendar days after delivery. For in-store purchases, the return period begins on the purchase date.

New Items — 14 Days

A return request for a new item must be submitted within 14 calendar days after delivery. For in-store purchases, the return period begins on the purchase date.

The delivery date shown by the shipping carrier’s tracking information will be considered the delivery date. Receiving authorization to return an item does not guarantee that the return will be accepted. All returns are subject to inspection.

RETURN METHODS AND AUTHORIZATION

Eligible items may be returned in store or by mail.

Contact us before returning any item by mail. Unauthorized returns may be refused. After receiving return authorization, the item must be shipped or delivered to us within 3 business days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

EXCHANGES

Exchanges are not accepted. If you would like a different item, you must return the eligible item under this policy and place a new order.

RETURN CONDITION

Returned merchandise must be in the same condition in which it was sold and shipped.

New items must be unused, unaltered, and unregistered and must include all original packaging, manuals, accessories, tags, protective materials, and promotional items.

Used and vintage items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, with all included accessories and packaging. Wear or characteristics accurately disclosed in the item description do not make an item “not as described.”

Items showing signs of use, wear, damage, modification, installation, improper handling, smoke exposure, missing parts, missing packaging, or an altered, removed, or changed serial number may be refused or may receive a reduced refund based on the resulting loss in value.

RESTOCKING FEE

All accepted returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee calculated from the item’s purchase price, excluding taxes and shipping.

The restocking fee will be waived only when:

1. The item was materially damaged, defective, or different from its description when received; or

2. JAMS agreed in writing before the purchase to waive or modify the fee.

Any exception must appear in writing on the invoice, order, or other written communication made before the purchase.

RETURN SHIPPING

The customer is responsible for obtaining and paying for the return shipping label and all return shipping costs unless the item was materially damaged, defective, or not as described when received.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If an order qualified for free or discounted shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost paid by JAMS may be deducted from the refund.

Returned items must be securely packaged. We strongly recommend using a trackable and fully insured shipping service. The customer is responsible for loss or damage occurring during return shipment. Collect-on-delivery shipments will not be accepted.

If we confirm that an item was materially damaged, defective, or not as described when received, JAMS will waive the restocking fee and provide or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or materially different from its description, contact us as soon as possible and retain the item, shipping carton, packing materials, and all accessories. Photographs or other documentation may be required so we can evaluate the issue or submit a carrier claim.

Do not repair, modify, use, or return a damaged or incorrect item without contacting us first.

NONRETURNABLE ITEMS

The following are final sale unless defective or otherwise required by law:

• Gift cards and digital products

• Services, labor, lessons, and completed repair work

• Special-order, custom-order, and personalized merchandise

• Items expressly marked “Final Sale”

• Opened software, media, or license-key products

• Opened consumable or hygiene-sensitive products, including strings, reeds, mouthpieces, harmonicas, earplugs, and cleaning products

REFUNDS

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 days after the returned item is received and inspected.

The refund will consist of the item’s eligible purchase price and applicable refundable taxes, less:

• The 15% restocking fee;

• Original and return shipping costs for which the customer is responsible;

• The actual outbound shipping cost for orders receiving free or discounted shipping; and

• Any permitted deduction for missing components, damage, use, or diminished value.

Shipping charges are refundable only when required by law or when JAMS confirms that the item was materially damaged, defective, or not as described when received.

After JAMS issues the refund, additional processing time may be required before the refund appears in your account. Processing times are determined by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Any item that does not satisfy this policy may be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUSED DELIVERIES

An order cannot be guaranteed to be canceled after it has been placed. If an order has already been processed or shipped, it will be handled as a return under this policy.

Refusing delivery does not cancel an order or eliminate shipping charges. Any return shipping, carrier fees, or other costs resulting from a refused or undeliverable shipment may be deducted from the refund.

LEGAL RIGHTS

This policy does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. Where applicable law provides greater protection, applicable law will control.
